Producer (Includes Manufacturer and Importer):
The entity that engages in:
- Manufacture and sale of batteries including refurbished batteries in equipment, under its brand
- Sale of batteries including refurbished batteries, including in equipment, under its brand,
- Import of batteries well as equipment containing a battery
Refurbisher:
An entity engaged in repairing, reconditioning, and repurposing of used batteries for its second life.
Recycler:
An entity engaged in only recycling waste battery.
