EPR Deadlines for E-Waste

E-waste Management is a growing concern in the fast-paced and technological world. As a result, to curb the E-waste generation by technological producers or Brand owners, EPR compliance for E-waste has been made mandatory for Producers, Recyclers, Technology Producing companies and Brands, etc.

The Electronic Waste Management Rules were first notified in 2016, and then amended in 2018 and 2022. As per these amendments, there are different deadlines which need to be followed and they can be categorized into the following major types:

Deadline for Registration:

a. For Producers: 30th June is the deadline to submit the application online. A copy of notification can be found on our website at this link.

b. For Recyclers and Refurbishers: no such deadline is there yet.
